Priority is given to those business ventures which by working with the Certified SBDC Advisor will most likely contribute to the growth & stability of the small business community in Washington through increased capital investment, job creation & retention.

Business Assessment
A certified business advisor will assist you with getting the big picture on what it takes to successfully develop your business. The process involves looking at your business numbers, business model, marketing efforts and aligning them with your strategic objectives

Business Advising
A certified business advisor will review whatever area of business concern you bring. You can expect to leave with some action items to implement based on your desired goals. Requests will be submitted for outside research or other resource services if necessary

Loan Proposal Development
A certified business advisor will work with you on preparing a loan package including a written business plan and financial projections. Financing options will be explored & recommended.

Business Plan Review
A certified business advisor will review your business plan and financial reports or projections and provide a written evaluation with strengths, weaknesses and recommendations to consider. The evaluation is done based on your current business goals whether it is getting financing, improving operations, human resource development, marketing & sales or financial success.

Research & Analysis
Access to Research Assistants for demographic & industry information
Access to student teams to assist your business in special projects

Resource Referral
The Edmonds Community College Small Business Development Center is part of a collaborative partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration, Washington State University and many other professional & economic development groups. Access to these resources is available and recommendations will be made as appropriate.
